I don't really like using friends filters. I find them unwieldy, and I'm almost always paranoid that I've clicked the wrong filter choice when posting. The only real exception to this is the "contact info" filter, which I use from time to time, and my "work-safe" filter (meaning people I trust with intricate and intimiate details about whats going on in the office, or if there is something of sensitive information about something going on in the field), but I doubt I'll need it now that the hostage crisis is over.

However, I am aware that my medical updates may contain information that some people don't really want to hear. Some things border on- and some things cross the border of- TMI, and I'm sure there are at least some of you who are sick of hearing me whine.

As a compromise, I'll try to put medical updates under a cut, no matter how short they might be, unless they are of major developments.

Just so you know, these updates are intended only for a State Of The Union Body type addresses. There are no veiled hints or pointed statements, or accusations of any kind involved here. I want to make this clear, because I realize there is a great deal of whining that could be interpreted to be "why don't you take care of me better?" or the like. But its not. Just so you know.

Is anyone else having problems with their LJ comments not getting emailed to them? I thought it might be my server, but other emails are getting through.


In other news, I've had the Blondie song, One Way Or Another stuck in my head for hours. And hours and hours. Help?
