May. 5th, 2005 12:17 pmI heard the Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young song Ohio on the radio this morning, in the car on the way back from my post-office run.
It continues to be the singlemost chilling song I've ever heard. Not just because of the contents, but also because of the melody and harmonies.
I know I've referrenced this song in my journal before. Its been a long time.
The DJ then went on to remark that yesterday was the 35th anniversary of the Kent State killings, about which the song is written.
Interesting that yesterday was also Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Its really hard for me not to notice these things sometimes.
