Randomalities

Being someone who historically is very happy going to bed at 5:30 in the morning, I am finding it difficult to all of a sudden be getting up at the same hour (I will be able to get up an hour later after the first two weeks, as we are in the midst of a training session who's activities begin at 8:15). The problem is, I like my housemates too much, and we have the tendency to sit up until well after midnight jawing away the hours and playing with the new kitty. I suppose after a week or two of building up this amazing sleep debt I may perhaps begin to learn my lesson.

My new email doesn't seem to make it very easy to respond to LJ comments. Maybe its the webmail, and after I convert to Outlook Express that will change. Otherwise I suppose I'll switch them back to being sent to Hotmail. Something to ponder.

The Grant Park movie on Tuesday night ("Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?") was very good, if not quite dated. I suppose there's nothing like a sudden soaking to really make the evening. Next week is "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", which I've never seen, so I'm looking forwards to it.

Kitty likes to nibble toes. In the middle of the night. Reminds me of an ex-boyfriend......

Well, Outlook Express certainly solves the reply-to-comments problem. Comments are still coming slower than they did on Hotmail, but I've also been informed that LJ has been weird about sending comments lately, so that may be it.


Tonight, I go home and see my housemates and get to bed at a decent hour. Hopefully.

I think I am slowly regaining contact with the world! If you are waiting to hear from me and haven't, please continue to be patient. You're welcome to keep trying, if you are so inclined. I promise its not because you had garlic for dinner, or that I think you dress funny. I still like you.
