Now, I've been doing my own laundry since at least high school, probably before. My philosophy is, forget the separating, just throw 'em all in on cold and hope for the best. And so far, this philosophy has served me well.
But here's what I learned earlier this evening:
If you put a white bra in a laundry load with a pair of jeans and three pairs of underwear with blue dye in them, wash them all on hot and stick them in the dryer, you get a blue bra. And not an ooh-that's-a-pretty-color blue bra. But an icky, washed-out, grayish, damn-that-needs-some-oxyclean blue.
Yeah.
