So anyway.....

I am stuck in the MOST IRRITATING place in the whole freaking PIT! The guy next to me in the 2nd violins is a very large man- something of which I could really care less- but he smells TERRIBLE! Plus, everyone in the back of the 2nds rush like freaking crazy. To augment that, the gentleman with whom I share a stand is a great player, but he is one of those old and jaded, lets-just-get-through-it-who-cares kind of musicians (that I'm praying I never turn into), so he's always fucking up. On top of THAT, I can hardly see the stick for the glare of the stand lights. The combined result is I CAN'T FIND THE FUCKING TEMPO half the time. Its very frustrating. I'm afraid its going to make me look unprofessional in the long run. And it was OH so fun when they turned on the fog machine and it blew right through the orchestra, rendering music impossible to read and asphyxiating most of us (insert your own viola joke here....) But on the whole, I am having a fairly good time. And I will get paid for it. Yay, now my car insurance will get paid next week! WOOHOOOOOO!!

Ok, now I am going to go turn on some Christmas music, light the first candle on the menorah, and finish my Sunday School lesson for this week. Then I will take allll my personalities and put them to bed.
