Ever have that thing where you have a whole lot to say, but nothing to SAY?

I feel like there's a million things to talk about but when I sit down to type there's nothing to say.

urrrr....I think I'm cranky, so I guess I'm going to bed now.

Oh yeah. I'm gonna learn myself how to play the gi-tar.

WOOHOO!

and then ya get Luvs...

Oh sorry. I'm the product of the media generation. I can't help it.

Anyway. Isn't it amazing that you can actually learn something new EVERY DAY of your life??

This is what I learned today:

YAY! I can make a community link to story hour! WOOHOOOOO!!

I must reiterate: Haul ass over there and tell stories. We even got Sunday to tell a story.

Am I going to be forced to be the first one to tell about Redneck Campground?? Cheeeesopeets, people.

Don't tell me you all went out and got yourselves LIVES. Its very rude of you to go and leave the rest of the lj junkies alone.

Tee hee.

*poof* I'm gone.

For the second year in a row, it was ark-building time as the pops orchestra attempted to play a concert at the Palatine Park District summer concert series. Only last time we actually made it through. This year, as we had made it about 1/6th of the way through the Phantom Of the Opera suite, we found ourselves playing in very catacomb-like conditions ourselves. Yes indeed, the lights went out on us. I was actually impressed with the amount of people who had their parts memorized after only three concerts. But then again, it IS ALW. Not difficult. In fact, I'm wondering if it was divine commentary...

Ok. So. Nothing really super eventful. But I thought I'd share. I was bemused. Anyone else have any weird-gig stories? Lib? Dusty? Any other musicians that may be perusing my livejournal pages? It did spark a memory that I figured I'd go post at [livejournal.com profile] bedtimestories a little later.

So anyone want to know something kinda funny?

No?

Too bad, I'm gonna tell it anyway.

So you all know how hard I looked to find a home for Sergei? Well, he is now at least temporarily co-habitating with Ben. MANY SMOOCHES TO BEN FOR BEING SUCH A FREAKING SAINT! Anyway....we've had this stray cat in the neighborhood for a few months now. We think he lives underneath our next-door neighbor's porch. Haven't seen a lot of him except when he would come out at night, and he and Sergei would stand in the driveway hissing at each other. Sergei is very territorial. So my dad comes home tonight, and Pee-Wee, the grumpy-old-man-cat is streched out on the porch in tummy-full blissfulness. And snuggled up right next to him like a kitten is said stray cat.

My dad didn't know whether to laugh his ass off or blow a gasket.

So again, I'm asking.....

ANYONE WANNA CAT?
