What was your first Halloween costume?

I don't remember my very first, but some of my earliest included a clown, a witch, and Strawberry Shortcake. Even though I inheret my lack of domestic skills from my mother, she managed to put together or make every piece of a Halloween costume for us for many years.

What was your best costume and why?

I was extremely proud of my Strawberry Shortcake costume, but my favorite was two years ago, when I was Eeyore. My sister made me ears and a tail out of felt, and it was a hit. I still have the t-shirt with the button on the butt for the tail, but I can't find the ears or tail anymore. Bummer.

Did you ever play a trick on someone who didn't give you a treat?

No. I never had anyone who didn't give out candy, and anyway we weren't quite that devious.


Do you have any Halloween traditions?

Since my sister's birthday is ten days before Halloween, many years we would have a pumkin-carving party for her birthday. Other than that, Halloween isn't a huge holiday for our family.
