violachicOn days like these, its hard to decide whether or not to post. Because I feel as if I start talking, I WON'T STOP. Any of the other days that I may not have posted, it wasn't for want of anything to say. It was simply, I was intimidated by the fact that I could write chapters and chapters, and I wouldn't know when to shup up. Or off. Or... whatever.
So instead of posting about a gazillion things at once, I've decided to pick what's on the very top of my mind at the moment I begin to post, and deal with that. And only that. I hope.
So what's on my mind right now? Boys. Yes, that's right. Boys.
Boys are dumb. I can't throw rocks at them because I am a pacifist, but I will certainly toss dark scowls in their general direction.
Ok, they're not ALL dumb. But the ones who aren't are taken. Or gay. Or both. I have two prime examples. One of a dumb boy, and one of a taken boy.
DUMB: My ex-boyfriend, whom I recently saw, who swore up and down how excited he was to see me, and promised he would call me.
Two weeks ago.
TAKEN: This really really incredible guy who teaches drums at my studio. Has a live-in girlfriend/fiance/whatever, and I am NOT a homewrecker. I'm really bummed because due to his current liason, I can't even have the kind of friendship with him I'd like to. But that's life, and she got to him first, eh? What makes it even more frustrating, is that the couple of times I've met her, she seems really cool. You can't really begrudge a guy for dating a really cool chick.
