I have a secret. Well, its not really a secret, per se. Just something that seems to surprise people when I mention it to them. It is apparently a well-kept secret, even though I don't mean it to be.

My secret is that, even though I love people and try to be friendly and stuff, people really kind of scare the crap out of me. That is, meeting new people, and being around new people and stuff.

Crowds don't make me nervous unless they A) want me to do something in front of them, or B) I'm expected to mingle and meet people on my own :)

I fake it. People don't scare the crap out of me; they're more likely to annoy me, so I pretend they don't. As the old saying goes "Fake it 'til you make it." Easier said then done for sure, but that's what I try to do.
