I am having problems getting this community thing set up. Every time I go to add user names to it, even though I am signed in and all, it tells me that I don't have access to add or remove names. What am I doing wrong? Some of you out there may have already set up a community- I am wondering if you can give me some advice to get this off the ground! THANK YOU!!

I think it depends if your community is open or closed. Mine is open. Which means to join, all anyone has to do is go to the community.. i.e.
www.livejournal.com/users/lj_community .. once they are there, hit the profile page. There should be something above, that asks if they would like to join.. in which they will need to be *logged in.

If it is a closed community, I believe they will e-mail the communities host to make sure its okay.
